The Austin Air HealthMate Standard Filter, manufactured in Buffalo, NY. It is perfect to address your everyday air quality concerns. It removes a wide range of airborne particles, chemicals, gases and odors and will significantly improve the quality of air in your home. 

High technology made to last

The Austin Air HealthMate Filter are made of successive layers, including Activated Carbon and HEPA technology. All replacement filters have up to a 5 year life expectancy.

Step 1 - First layer is a large particle pre-filter which removes particles you see by the naked eye such as dust, hair and pet dander.

Step 2 - Second layer is a medium particle pre-filter which removes small to medium size particles such as molds, spores and pollen. This layer is either gray, blue or green.

Step 3 - Third layer is made of over 780 cubic inches of Activated Carbon, Potassium Iodide Impregnated Carbon and Zeolite. It removes Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), formaldehyde, benzenes, chemicals, gases and odors.

Step 4 - Fourth and final layer is 60 sq. ft. of True Medical Grade HEPA. This technology removes 99.97% of all particles larger than 0.3 microns and 95% of all particles larger than 0.1 microns.

Good to know : Austin Air standard size units are interchangeable with all standard size filters. For example, if you would like to upgrade your standard size Austin Air HealthMate® to a standard size HealthMate Plus®, simply purchase this HealthMate Plus® filter. Not sure what is the size of your existing filter? Look for the label underside. Model HM400 indicates standard size filter.
